A FRESH THOUGHT

THE WORLD OF A GROWING CHILD AND THE ROLE OF AN ADULT: A FRESH THOUGHT

The time has changed, but the needs of a growing child are the same what it was generation ago. The shift which we have seen over years is from ever-forgiving grandparents to hired Ayahs, from adoring aunts and uncles to hai-hello aunties and uncles who do not have time to see the giggles of the blooming buds. The learning process has become very complex and undue stress is on the child as he has to find himself in the world of challenges posing a threat to his existence.

Remember - If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.

- If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.

- If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient

- If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.

- If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

- If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.

- If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

- If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

- If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith

- If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.

A better understanding of this variety of life experiences may make educational process a lively, continuous and limitless life long process. The fulfilment will be more than satisfying to teachers & parents.
